KASTRUP BOLDKLUB IS LOOKING FOR COACHES FOR OUR U16 BOYS
The U16 boys team is a mix of players born in 2009 and 2010. Over the years, the boys have been great at sticking together, and more players have joined along the way. For the upcoming autumn season, they’re registered in an 11-a-side league, which provides good opportunities for all players to get match time.
The team currently needs a brand-new staff consisting of coaches and team leaders. Specifically, we’re looking for a head coach, an assistant coach, and 1–2 team leaders.
They train twice a week and play matches on weekends.
As a coach, it’s important to set a clear direction – and stick to it. That structure is something the boys thrive on.
You should be aware that the players have a wide range of skill levels, which is why having two coaches is crucial to allow for training that can be tailored to different levels.

🏟️ About the Club
We’re a club with a unique history, having produced national team players like Jan Heintze and Kenneth Perez. We’ve also played nine seasons in the country's top division. Our clubhouse buzzes with energy, and we take great pride in being a club that values unity and togetherness.
We have a close partnership with DBU and FCK (our partner club), who assist us with strategic development and building cohesion on the field.
For the third season in a row, the FCK training center is being hosted on our grounds. Here, boys and girls can pay for an extra training session each week. This initiative has already gained a lot of positive attention. The center is designed not only for players, but also as a source of inspiration and development for our coaches.
Club members love the location of our facilities – surrounded by trees, bushes, and two garden allotments – which creates a home-like feeling when stepping onto our pitches, especially during spring, summer, and autumn when the grass fields are full of life.
In June 2023, we inaugurated our new artificial turf pitch to mark the club’s 90th anniversary. We also established a sports committee that includes a youth development coach, a micro-development coach, and a head coach for senior football.
This committee ensures high-quality training sessions and oversees all athletic development in Kastrup B – for girls and boys, as well as women and men.
📋 Qualifications
As a coach in Kastrup Boldklub, you’re expected to engage with our football strategy and club manuals.
We expect you to be eager to learn about the game and curious about the world’s most wonderful sport.
An important part of the role is being reflective and solution-oriented while collaborating with fellow coaches to develop players.
The coaching job at Kastrup Boldklub can be time-consuming, so it’s vital that you’re able to dedicate time during the football season. Many coaches discover such a strong passion for coaching here that they take on additional responsibilities as well.
We’re looking for someone with emotional intelligence, an outgoing nature, and a desire to initiate dialogue both on and off the pitch.
You must see yourself in an amateur club that operates as a single team – including the board, sports leadership, and you as a coach.
